The Vienna Science and Technology Fund Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Call 2019 has opened on 1st of November 2018! The submission deadline for short proposals was on the 17th of January 2019.
The deadline for proposals invited to submit a full proposal is open until May 16, 2019, 2pm.
Information and Communication Technology 2019 is the fifth project call within the Vienna Science and Technology Fund (WWTF) ICT Programme. It invites researchers and scientists at universities and non-university research institutions in Vienna, including those moving to Vienna, who want to conduct a multi-annual (2 to 4 years) cutting-edge research project in the field of ICT and its application in other fields. Projects should strive to improve the understanding of substantial current scientific research questions (disciplinary, interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary) in the field of ICT with potential medium term economic or social benefit.
A total of € 5.5 million will be dedicated to this call. The funding range per project is € 200,000 to € 800,000.
