"Public Spaces in Transition"

From September 14, 2012 on the WWTF /City of Vienna Call 2013 "Public Spaces in Transition" is open.
Submission deadline for proposals is January 17, 2012 at 2pm.

The „Public Spaces in Transition“ Call 2013 is the fifth call within the funding programme ”Social Sciences and Humanities in Vienna“ run by WWTF on behalf of the City of Vienna.

Call for research project proposals
This call addresses social sciences and humanities at universities and non-university research institutions as well as scientists and researchers in Vienna, including researchers moving to Vienna as a result of this call that intend to conduct a 1-4 year scientific research project in the areas of social sciences and humanities.
Proposals should strive to advance the state of knowledge and enhance our understanding of current scientific research questions in the humanities and social sciences on the topic of public spaces. In total, 2 million € are dedicated to this call. The funding range per project is 100.000 to 350.000 €.

Call for summer school proposals
This call also invites to submit proposals for the organisation of interdisciplinary and international summer schools (VIS13) within the topic of "Public Spaces in Transition". (!!! Summer school proposals cannot be submitted through the submission system !!!). Submission deadline for summer school proposals only is March 20, 2012, 2 pm. Submit via email to VIS13{at}wwtf.at
